Having a fabulous time down under with Molly Morepark, Cam "the Mo Man" and of course, Stan-Long-Drop Kensinger, GPS. New Zealand is breath takingly beautiful. We have unfortunately hit a week of cool, wet & wind, but the tourist opportunities abound. Cam took Stan out for 18 holes of wind golf that rivaled the course winds in Hawaii. We hiked in the cloud forest to the Franz Josef glacier, stayed at the Rain Forest Hotel where Cam was awarded a significant day trip just for sporting such a good Mo (mustache). Cam has declared this month Manuary. Molster is her usually naughty self and has way too many incriminating pictures to post. She knows everyone in Queenstown - big surprise. Her new Irish BF, Brian, is a sweetie and a saint to put up with all of that energy... We may not see back her state side for a while...
Stan has us booked into a wonderful condo right on the shore of Lake Wakatipu in Queenstown, with a view that never ceases to stop you in your tracts. Lively euchre games help us "unwind" at the end of our busy days.

I had a most wonderful birthday surrounded by love and sweet gifts. We took a steamer across the lake to a working sheep farm, lots of fun photo ops, amazing scenery... Then Stan took us to a delicious meat fest restaurant called The Flame. I felt it would be sacrilegious not to order beef and Wow! was it great! These Kiwis love their booze and beef!
